1. Acceptance
By creating an account, accessing the website, or generating an exam through ExamPull (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Service. Users under 13 may only use the Service through a parent-managed account, in compliance with COPPA. See Section 13.
2. What ExamPull Is
ExamPull turns the study materials you provide (lecture slides, textbooks, photos, notes) into print-ready practice exam PDFs. The product also offers attempt review and marked feedback.
The Service is a study aid. Practice exams are generated by language models and may contain factual errors, ambiguous wording, or content that diverges from your actual coursework. ExamPull is not a substitute for instruction, your school's published materials, or human review of important assessments. Treat every output as a draft to study with, not as a graded assessment.
3. Account Responsibilities
You agree that the information you provide during sign-up (email, phone number, identity-related details) is accurate and that you will keep it current. Each person may hold only one account. Phone-number verification is required and one phone number maps to one account; sharing accounts or attempting to create multiple accounts to claim additional trials is a violation of these Terms.
You are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your credentials confidential, and notify us immediately at support@exampull.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload material you do not have the right to use, including copyrighted course content for which you do not hold a license or fair-use basis as a student
- Generate exam content that you intend to pass off as your own coursework, submit for academic credit, or distribute as official assessments
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract our model outputs to train competing systems
- Bypass abuse safeguards (rate limits, phone verification, device fingerprinting), spawn multiple accounts, or otherwise manipulate trial or usage limits
- Upload sexual content involving minors, content that incites violence, malware, or content that violates applicable law
- Use the Service to generate, distribute, or facilitate cheating on real graded assessments, licensure exams, or proctored tests
Copyright acknowledgment
You are responsible for the materials you upload. Many course materials (textbooks, lecture slides, problem sets) are copyrighted. By uploading, you represent that you have a valid right to use the material — typically as a student enrolled in the relevant course, exercising fair use for personal study. We respect intellectual property rights and will respond to valid DMCA notices sent to dmca@exampull.com.
5. Subscriptions, Billing, Cancellation, Refunds
ExamPull offers two monthly subscriptions: Standard at $10 per month and Plus at $25 per month. Both plans include the same product features and exams of up to 25 questions; Plus includes more monthly usage. Prices are listed on the Pricing and may change with notice for future billing periods. Current subscribers continue at their existing rate through the end of their current billing period.
Cardless trial
A new eligible account receives one 30-day Standard trial. It activates when you first ask ExamPull to read your materials or build an exam, does not require a payment method, and does not convert into a paid subscription automatically. The trial has its own included usage. Additional promotional trials may be granted at our discretion.
Monthly plans
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; access continues through the end of the current paid period, after which new AI work pauses. Exams and other existing content in your account remain available. Cancellation by itself does not create a partial-month refund.
Monthly usage
Each plan includes an internal monthly usage limit. We track AI-provider calls and their attributable cost to apply that limit. When you reach 80%, we show a notice with the reset date. A request that starts while usage remains available may finish even if it crosses the limit; only new AI work is blocked afterward. We do not charge automatic overage fees.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may pause new AI work while you update your payment method. Existing exams stay available. We will tell you in the product and by email when payment action is needed.
Refund requests
Refunds are evaluated case-by-case via the support portal. You may identify any payment and request a full or partial refund. We are reasonable about clear errors such as duplicate charges. A refund does not erase historical usage or automatically cancel a subscription; those actions are handled separately.
6. Content Ownership
You retain all rights to the materials you upload. You grant ExamPull a limited, non-exclusive license to process those materials solely to deliver the Service to you: to extract topics, generate exams, produce PDFs, and process attempts if you use an enabled review feature. We do not claim ownership of your uploads.
Exams generated for you, the answer keys, and any attempt feedback are yours to download, print, share privately, and study from. You may not resell ExamPull-generated material as a commercial product.
Aggregate, anonymized statistics about Service usage (for example, total exams generated by plan) belong to ExamPull and may be published; these never include identifying information or the contents of your uploads.
7. AI and Data Usage
The Service relies on outside AI services, routed through OpenRouter, to do its work. Your uploads and exam content are sent to those services strictly to fulfill your requests.
ExamPull does not use your uploads or generated content to train its own models. OpenRouter and each downstream AI provider maintain separate retention and training policies. Restricting every production route to providers that do not train on submitted content is a launch requirement; we do not represent that requirement as satisfied until its technical enforcement has been verified. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling, retention, and deletion.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Account deletion triggers a full data wipe: uploaded materials, generated exams, grading results, and personal data are permanently removed (subject to brief retention in encrypted backups, as described in the Privacy Policy).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that we reasonably believe are engaged in abuse or fraud, or that have been inactive for an extended period. Where possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy. For egregious violations (illegal content, attempts to compromise the Service), termination may be immediate.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of generated content. We make no warranty that exams generated by the Service will reflect what your instructor will actually test, that grading feedback is correct, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
You use ExamPull as a study aid at your own academic risk. We encourage you to verify important information against your authoritative course materials.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExamPull and its officers, directors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or academic standing, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, regardless of the theory of liability and even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event will ExamPull's aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to ExamPull in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100.00). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions, the limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to the address on your account and on the changelog, with at least 14 days' notice before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
13. Children's Use
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, and an account for a user under 13 must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account without consent, contact support@exampull.com and we will delete the account and associated data promptly.
14. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to legal@exampull.com. For account, billing, or product help, use the support portal.
